Project Objectives:

1. Enhance youth understanding of climate issues through experiential, simulation-based learning.

2. Empower adolescents to become active participants in climate advocacy and local action.

3. Simulate COP-style negotiations to develop critical thinking, diplomacy, and problem-solving skills.

4. Foster intersectoral partnerships to drive sustainable, community-driven climate solutions.

5. Support the Ministry of Climate Change in strategic communications during COP29 to amplify Pakistan’s climate narrative globally.

COP Simulation Pakistan

Localized Simulations:

Delivered across five cities with unique, theme-driven activities

1. Lahore – Urban Sustainability and Climate Resilience

2. Quetta – Thirsty Lands (Water scarcity and desertification)

3. Karachi – Rising Tides, Sinking Hopes (Rising sea levels, urban flooding, mangrove protection)

4. Peshawar – Breathing Green: Reviving Nature, Restoring Peshawar’s Future (Green spaces, air quality)

5. Islamabad – Policy to Action (National Finale)


Stakeholder Collaboration: Involved key partners like the Ministry of Climate Change, Save the Children, Pathfinder International, German Red Cross Society, and Pakistan Red Crescent Society, among others.


Youth Mobilization: Engaged 500+ students from diverse educational institutions through outreach and orientation.


Educational Support: Developed pre-simulation workshops and learning resources to introduce climate diplomacy concepts.

COP29, Baku – Ministry of Climate Change Support

Strategic Communications:

Managed real-time content creation and publishing across platforms.

Drafted official press releases, media briefs, and talking points aligned with Pakistan’s climate goals.


Creative Design & Branding:

Designed campaign assets including digital toolkits, infographics, and promotional content.

Developed cohesive visual branding for Pakistan’s delegation in line with COP29 themes.


Pakistan Pavilion Concept:

Conceived and submitted the thematic concept for the Pakistan Pavilion, emphasizing youth engagement, national resilience, and climate innovation.
